…is a new comic written by Equal Access Cambodia and designed by Our Books.
Sophea, Sa Em, and Borin are close friends. The three of them have set up a radio listening club in their village with their friends. Because of poverty and drought, Sa Em’s parents and Borin’s parents suggest they stop their studies and make some money to help buy gasoline for the rice field water pump.
Sophea encourages Sa Em and Borin to find solutions to their problems. The villagers are waiting for help from their representatives (‘Members of Parliament or ‘MP”). They were promised during the election campaign that an irrigation canal would be built if their representatives won the election.
But the rice is starting to die because there isn’t any water for the fields. What should the villagers do?
Available in print (Khmer) from Equal Access Cambodia and Our Books.
